Policing 1 Year, 10 Months ago
The man who murdered his neighbour informed Police the day before that he would kill him. It was also known that he had committed years of aggressive anti social behaviour and could be violent.

If we still had Police patrolling the streets could this have been prevented? Does the concept of preventative Policing even exist now?

I read in the media that each time police questioned Arslan, he pulled out the race card and told police he was racial abused. SO the police left it at that.

It's amazing how things can escalate with neighbour disputes, I heard it started with parking. I have seen neighbours argue over the smallest thing but parking seems to be the main dispute with neighbours then things go on from there. Arslan even had heat with other neighbours.

Also people need to move from time to time.

Arslan has shown zero remorse.

If the victim had been an attractive young woman who had contacted Police about a stalker and the stalker told Police the day before he killed the victim that this is what he intended to do - this would be the headline.

Bang on.

Police see neighbour disputes as civil matter not criminal matters. This needs to change.

My sister had her car scratched and damaged over parking dispute, she just moved away before things got worst. She got a little less for the asking price but she is happy where she is now.

Life is too short for arguing.
