Brilliant - his best yet and I'm a big Seymour fan. Jonas Merrick was a great creation in The Crocodile Hunter - delighted to see him return. Gerry's Smiley. More,I hope.

I look forward to it. I read my first Seymour last year off the back of your recommendation and loved it. As well as discovering Genesis, you can add this to your CV JK 😜

That's not me Wyot. Barney is up to his own tricks.

I don't like espionage books or films.

Barney, Wyot likes early Genesis music he has established that weeks ago !

I'm sure he has early Kansas albums also and a stack of Yes records. He is also not a basement dweller.

Spot on GM; apologies for not checking. Barney's stupidity knows no bounds.

I had actually guessed GM.

You would never post such a dull and petty-bitchy post. Our bromance will survive such lame broadsides GM...

JK - you should not have to apologise or check this stuff...

BTW GM (and anyone else interested) I too don't usually read spy thriller type stuff but as I already loved pretty much all the writers our host recommends I gave it a go. Seymour really is a cut above; his characters as real as the best "literary" fiction, his themes thoughtful and very intelligently dissected. You may be surprised!

Maybe you could read it to me. I might a case of Iron Maiden ale. Status Quo ale was terrible and Motorhead ale was strong and refreshing.

That's my homework 🤪.

When we are old and crinkled like crinkle chips or old prunes Wyot. We can sit on a bench and discuss about basements and their occupants.
