So the BBC News man at Gatwick mimed but was silent. Oops - back to Hugh. A few minutes later back to the man in Gatwick who could now be heard (just) but clearly his lapel mic on his shirt was pointing the wrong way - at the floor, not his mouth. In my day this would have caused the sound person to be fired. Not any longer. Nobody cares these days.

Especially in the media. I wonder if bosses are now scared to fire anyone these days ? I see more and incompetent waitresses waiters in restaurants these days.
