Heatwave? 1 Year, 9 Months ago  
I spent most of May and June in Rome where temperatures regularly hit 37 and loved it. As long as I have access to swimming pools (5 hours a day) and air conditioning (in hotels and car), I'm happy.

Yes, but lets not forget that a lot of people dont, and they live in ticky tacky energy efficient houses which just get hotter and hotter.

Like you, I am fine. It is only 65 degrees in my kitchen at the moment.

Spot on.

Houses in the UK are built to keep heat in.

I do laugh though when people mean it's hot at 30c to 34c. Texas can be 40c+.
