How on the earth could they be sold on the market. Yet motorists are hounded straightway if they are involved in accident. Hate the bloody things and I predict there will be a big push back in a few years when our pavements are unusable. Still, given they will make the fattest nation in Europe fatter still, it may be that some more portly e scooter owners find their vehicles refusing to move one morning... fully agree cyclist should be licensed. 100s of them in the Bondi area all over the place breaking road rules while Deliverooing. they should be brightly lit and wear Hi Viz clothing. Sydney streets are narrow and bloody bikes everywhere..now bike lanes taking all the parking spots. Sound's horrendous, I have to make a delivery in Bournemouth later. E Scooters are everywhere there.
