Cardinal Pell accusation 1 Year, 9 Months ago  
Cardinal George Pell sued by father of Australian choirboy

This seems most odd..the father of a deceased (drug overdose) former choir boy who is on record as telling his mother he was never abused, is suing Cardinal Pell, now in retirement & living in The Vatican.

Never heard of a similar case but reading between the lines I reckon this is lawyers putting pressure on the Catholic Church for a settlement.

It will probably work.

The Compo Industry rolls on.

Well spotted Hedda. The latest development in the False Allegations Industry is exactly this - Bent Lawyers persuading false accusers (or their parents/heirs) to sue in Civil Courts hoping that wealthy people will pay them to go away. Truly shocking.
