TOPIC: Climate Change
#224035
Climate Change 1 Year, 8 Months ago
Events this year back up my theory that the changes in climate are 99% beyond our control, involving changes in the sun. Cutting emissions etc is a waste of time, giving us extra days rather than years or decades, if anything at all. When the sun goes out it may happen in seconds or in centuries. Who knows? But that's what is going on. So all our efforts should be how to cope with the forthcoming changes - not in futile attempts to stop it. But I KNOW NOTHING (Fawlty King).

I just don't know enough about the science.

If you are correct that ultimately cutting emissions is a waste of time and will have minimal impact over any significant period of time, then I agree.

If this is not in fact the case, then I think that all our attention should be given to doing all we reasonably can to slow the change. For our children, their children and the other creatures we share the planet with...

We could call it something catchy like, um, Great Reset? ( * playful nudge at GM *)
