What evidence is there that MWT is gunning for Cliff when he dies. Absolutely nothing. Maybe Al Fayed was actually a serial groper and a sex offender. All these people saying that they never said anything at the time. They did as you can see on the ITV documentary

Yes Rich the rumour mill has said for years Cliff remains an MWT target when dead (when Cliff is dead, not Mark Williams Thomas). I hear he's furious he wasn't allowed to do the Exposure of Al Fayed (with ITV and the Mirror). But Lady Karma is hovering above MWT. I also hear much about his ex wife.

Someone needs to take a big detailed look into the background of Mr Williams Thomas. Your comment that he fancies his chances with Cliff when he can't answer back for himself shocks me. How cynical. What are this man's real motivations. If he has any evidence against anyone that he thinks can stack up then present it now, not later. It's not a brave investigator, it's cowardice otherwise.

If any of my former bosses had sexually assaulted or raped me then I would wish to see them accountable while alive, not dead.

Talk of MWT prompted me to return to the exhaustive investigations by the late Anna Racoon and I landed on one section on the claims by 4 women that Jimmy Savile abused them at the Duncroft School in the 1965 when they were there.

But thorough investigations by police and subsequent inquiries proved that Savile first visited Duncroft in 1974 long after these women had left.

4 obvious liars or fantasists were exposed which does not mean later accusations are false.

But I feel the Fayed controversy is going to explode into something similar..hence MWT's desire for a piece of the action.

Yes agreed Robbie there is clear and uncontestable evidence of historic claims against Al Fayed going back many years. With respect to other posters, this thread has jumped to conclusions to suit a pre-existing narrative.

I haven't seen the documentary, just the news reports, but the Al Fayed allegations seem more believable to me than those against Jimmy Savile, for example, as Al Fayed would actually have had a hold over the alleged victims, being their employer, plus being a billionaire, would have had deep pockets to sue. So it seems quite understandable to me that they'd have kept quiet. Less so with Jimmy Savile and other entertainers who had no hold over any victims. If I'm not mistaken, one alleged victim said that Al Fayed had told her to keep quiet or she'd never get another job in London. That seems like a threat someone would take seriously, especially a young person.

would this be the 'cliff richard' who took out a 'super-injunction' to stop details of his visits to 'Elm House'. SW London in the 70s being revealed?

How can Mark Williams Thomas get so supported by the Mirror and by ITV?

I think that's answered my question, looks he was the one MWT referred to some
years ago.

Fayed lived to last year at 94, so these people had a lot of time to make their accusations. But it feels like a deliberate wait until he'd passed away before doing so. In their defence maybe Fayed was highly litigious in his lifetime against such accusations.

Who's next?

There is one person I am very worried about who I hope has many years ahead of him and isn't going anywhere soon. He's already been grievously wronged by the BBC and received compensation, and was blameless. BUT....I just can't help but feel concerned that when he is no longer with us any longer there will be malicious types coming out the woodwork to renew fictitious claims about Cliff Richard and that the media will lap it up if so, or even start dredging around with a trawling operation all over again after he passes. I hope I'm wrong and simply overthinking it.

I agree, i share your concerns. I think he will be with us for a few years yet.
I can see Cliff making it to the big 100...if his health keeps up.

Oh really, how convenient. Why won't these "crimes" come out until after this high profile mystery person is dead? He obviously knows who he is talking about and feels he has the evidence in some way yet instead of providing this and allowing a possible conviction of a possibly guilty person in life he thinks it's best to wait until after death when the automatic conviction just by accusation with no answering back can be made. It's rotten to the core behaviour to insinuate and leave people wondering who and what and not the actions of an honest and trustworthy and genuinely authentic person whose paramount interest is in safe and natural justice.

I didn't know of the Fayed earlier accusations from many years ago and hadn't seen any programme about this so am happy to be filled in there which obviously throws a slightly different light on that case.

This interview contains a description of Al Fayed humiliating an employee that's just too weird not to be true. He must have been a real bastard.
