U.S. Green Indie, Dr. Jill Stein 1 Week, 4 Days ago
Born Jewish, May 14, 1950, Jill Ellen Stein is an American physician and activist. She is the Green Party's nominee for president of the United States in the 2024 election, and was previously its candidate in the 2012 and 2016 elections. She was the Green-Rainbow Party's candidate for governor of Massachusetts in 2002 and 2010. Stein is among the list of several women who have run for President of the United States and also one of the few who received over a million votes in the general election behind both Hillary Clinton and Jo Jorgensen.
Stein quote, "Gaza is not a war between Jews and Muslims. It is a war by Zionists on Jews, Muslims, and Christians Worldwide."

The Greens would be a party I'd certainly lean to but reality is they will never gain traction in the USA and are really a spoiler party.
* I love that in Australia the Greens do extremely well in the Upper House and often hold the balance of power forcing both major parties to negotiate legislation.
If I was American I'd hold my nose and have to vote for Harris noting that she is a hawk on Israel and supports the decimation of Gaza. I can only hope if she wins she may temper her stance.

There was an Arab American woman on the news the other day saying she'd be voting for Trump to punish the Democrats. I think she represented an Arab American group somewhere (Michigan? Wisconsin?). I couldn't understand why she'd want to do that, rather than just not vote, given that Trump is likely to be even more pro-Israel, so votes for him that would give him the presidency would surely cause the Palestinians to suffer even more.
