Does anyone else find Kamala Harris' voice a bit irritating ?

Trump's voice is OK but the way he goes of message with one of his "weaves" is off putting.

What a choice.

She reminds me of Chandler's girlfriend in "Friends". Janice?

Yes, I find her voice very nasal and rather grating, especially when she raises it.

Was watching the latest "The Rest is Politics" podcast with Rory Stewart and Alistair Campbell last night and Stewart is so confident that Harris will win, saying he thinks the pollsters have got it wrong, that he's prepared to bet £100,000 on it. Campbell is not so confident, saying he'd been speaking to Democratic strategists/activists/politicians (can't remember which) and they were jittery.

Trump has been driving a garbage truck and doing a rally wearing a high visibility vest. Quite funny.

Which of one hers her are talking about? The normal one, the fake Caribbean, the 1930's Black preacher, the 1980's Ghetto and there is one that is an odd a mix of Canadian and fake Caribbean.

Has anyone else noticed that head nodding thing she does when being interviewed? It reminds me of a hypnotist trying to use the powers of subliminal suggestion against people to make them think a certain way, sort of like attempting to make the interviewer agree with what she's saying.

Perhaps in house polling is telling a different story.

The Democrats won the popular vote in the last 2 elections but that very odd Electoral College is what matters.

I can't really see why independents or Democrat voters would go for Trump as contrary to what he says, his reign was pretty underwhelming with lost jobs and promises unfulfilled.

As I said in a previous, these stunts always have the capacity to go wrong as the garbage truck one did with a stumbling sweep of the leg and a missed door handle just highlighting that The Don seems very tired at present (who wouldn't be?).

And putting a Trump sign on that garbage truck..did no-one in the Trump camp not realize the endless jokes late hosts had delivered to them?

Still getting him to release his polices is like drawing blood but I see in his latest speech he said illegal immigrants are voting (they can't and don't) and that up to 20 million such folk (crashing the farmers economy?)will be deported and "there will be blood"

I don't understand the American voting system at all (if the swing states are the only ones that matter, why should anyone bother voting in any other state?), but it's perhaps no worse than the UK's. It looks as if Trump can say or do anything and his supporters won't care. But I wonder how many Latinos of Puerto Rican and other origin are now regretting voting early for him. There was one on the news the other day saying the only thing he can do now is try to persuade those he knows who still haven't voted to vote for Harris. With recent events, it looks as if the most sensible option is to wait until voting day to vote.

I've noticed that Americans often seem to nod a lot.

I'm beginning to become more and more certain that Trump will win. I fear for those that remain in Gaza, Lebanon and for what might happen if the Iran situation escalates further. I hope I'm wrong, and I'm not a Harris fan.
