His wife is either becoming very aggressive due to her dementia which is common or he is giving up on life. What I liked about Jay Leno was that he roasted everyone on both sides of the political spectrum; Johnny Carson did the same. Carson was the genius of weekend TV - replicated by by Leno, and many others all over the world.

His relaxed, different, funny, smart, innovative, fast-wit inspired clones - in every country.

JC - for 30+ years, was what late night US wanted to see. Presidents, actors - anyone; being smilingly undone.
