Perhaps Musk has chosen to be a Chaos Agent as in Steve Bannon's desire to "destroy the joint"..pull it all down anyway possible and rebuild it.
Thank God I'm old.
I don't think it is too much to say a civilisation is in its final days. The US has gone from George Washington and Thomas Paine to Donald Trump and Elon Musk. Nothing more needs to be said among the educated.
Not just peeople like the repulsive Cyril Smith but the enablers of such people are close to as bad. David Steel allegedly knew plenty about him but failed to act, and let's not forget that we've seen an Archbishop go out the door in the last few days because he ignored things he knew about.
With a company to run, with a part of government to deal with quite soon and with all the issues that the USA needs to sort I am just a little perplexed that Elon Musk even has the time to cast his gaze over to us here in the UK and sound off about many of our issues. I bet he'd never even heard of Savile most of his life. I was hearing a story yesterday that Musk is on a plan to bring down Keir Starmer and drive him out of No10 as soon as possible by whatever means. While I will not argue with that outcome, it's not for a foreign citizen to decide that and although I tend to agree with many points he makes, not all, irrespective of the politics of right or left that is not acceptable for one rich man to try and overthrow someone in a country not his own where he has no vote. I can still say that agreeing with much Musk says and loathing Starmer and what he stands for.
