His speech about the Southport attacks is typical - he knows it's a safe space with the public to describe the killer as vile and to pander to the tabloid slogan headline approach "Protect our children" indeed! Ghastly man; typical barrister; thinking we all fall for his simplistic position. Speaking to a stupid jury or a brain dead judge - making the most of a tragedy. Corbyn would have given a balanced speech (if at all) saying we need to protect ALL parties, including those loonies driven to such behaviour. Starmer is an example of the worst in humanity. "Those dark days of the summer"... no days are so dark as to witness this man of cliches waffling on about truisms and trying to appeal "brick by brick" to the morons in society.
He's like an AI generated Max Headroom bot but with less spontanaity. And like Biden he's paving the way for a very right wing Nationalist leader of the future...in 4 years as Trump exits...a Farage or worse will be entering here.
"No stone unturned"!!!! I cannot explain how offensive the use of truisms is to any intelligent person. Muddying the water, to use a cliche, pretending to care and to do something about this virus in humanity instead of solving it.
What the media fail to mention is that a lot of "Sincere Muslims" are the ones who left the Islamic faith. I am surprised that the media used his police mugshot not the photo of him at school.
(I didn't say all)
Starmer is one odd and a creepy cretin.
I hope Starmer is scared of Trump, especially if Trump mentions that the UK has a lot of free speech laws and loopholes. David Lammy is probably calling Farage to see if he wants his job. I don't like Farage he is very two-faced at times or a controlled opposition. According to the socials, many people who voted for him in Clacton think he is doing a good job.
I agree with the comments made and am so tired of truisms in general that it is awful to realise that their biggest fan in the UK is also our PM...
However, there was one important line in his speech, where he stated that the (inevitable) inquiry would not be "restricted" by "cultural sensitivities".
At last....That is a very deliberate remark it seems which he didn't need to include.
Also extend this approach PM to the next gang/gun shooting.

Our general election could have taken place as late as Thursday of this week. You have to wonder now just how different the result might have been if it had come after that massive Trump win and then his installation in power this week and the clear swing that is now taking place against much of the wokist, culture based nonsense that Labour and Starmer have been lapping up.
I think you're correct, there is going to be an almighty backlash when the time comes against everything Starmer stands for. He's already as finished as Sunak was in my opinion. The price we are having to pay for a longer term return to proper sane values of the majority is to endure this brief Labour spell in office. Hopefully in the end Labour will also rediscover their own old values too. Starmer is nothing more than a trolling untruthful charlatan, personality of a pedal bin, he couldn't even inspire a dead leaf to drop off an autumn tree.
Can't imagine what Starmer is thinking with Trump's handler Musk saying such dreadful things about Starmer and that he must go.
Normally I would support Starmer over the fruitloop Musk but I loathe Keir for the way he back stabbed Grandpa Corbyn.
Perhaps Corbyn is better out of it but the disappointment is awful seeing he had such plain sensible policies for the UK..ones that before Thatcher had served Britain so well under Tories and Labout alike.
Now our PM Albanese in Oz has stated that he spoke to Trump yesterday and our "relationship is strong' but I don't trust Trump as I think he is vindictive and may want revenge for not being allowed into Oz in the 90s to establish a Casino. He was found by Immigration to have a bad character.

Interesting. Do you know the details, e.g. what kind of bad character?
Do you listen to Mike's podcast The Thought Police GM? He does it with Kevin O'Sullivan. Roughly a 35 minute rant off each week. A warning though, the language is so blue and every possible swear word is used. Infact I think they've toned it down a touch compared to some older ones a year or two back. I don't know how the pair of them haven't accidentally forgotten themselves and let out an expletive on Talk TV if I'm honest, although I think Kevin has come close a couple of times. But there's a lot to get angry and swear about nowadays.
He may be arrogant but it's the right type of arrogance I think. He doesn't give a damn what people think of him or the personal comments people throw at him. I like that. He tore a strip off many politicians during the Brexit paralysis in 2019 and there are good examples out there how he treated people like Lisa Nandy and I believe he even gave Michael Heseltine his come uppance in that period too, and Heseltine wasn't used to people speaking to him in the manner Mike did, but he didn't care, and why should he.
The Plank Of The Week is always an enjoyable watch. How did you meet him?
