Trump LA 2 Weeks, 1 Day ago
The Governor of California is suing Trump for sending in the National Guard which of course inflamed any protests and led to riots. Trump is a madman. I never even thought his second term would be as bad as this. Friggin Horror Show. I now believe he's crossed the line, which was always gonna happen, and they will take him out by hook or crook. And they need to. It's just a matter of time. And place.

There is every chance his supporters could take him out (legally) if he continues on the path of a demagogue.

I think the Musk attack on him was very deliberate and remember waiting in the wings is that German South African creepy Peter Thiel who was responsible for JD Vance's rise.

When Musk said Vance should takeover he planted a time bomb between Trump and Vance.

I believe, and I don't wish it on anyone and have sympathy for him, that Trump is showing all the signs of dementia which will get worse over time. Especially given his father's dementia and altheimers. He's really beginning to show his age with slightly stooped walking.

I've always marveled at his ability to front rallies and speak (droning on) for 2 hours or so but that so resembles my dear pal who is the same age as Trump and has been diagnosed with dementia which comes out occasionally in odd little ways similar to how Trump can go right of course when being interviewed.

Trump's threats to stop Musk's multi $Billion contracts with the US government are hollow as they'd be tied up tight legally. But making such threats was really unwise.

I can't imagine what is happening to US tourism.

Decades ago- I had a good pal who owned a hotel in Florida but had heavily invested in downtown property in LA.

And then the infamous riots happened.

Property prices plunged and it took decades for them to recover. My pal went bankrupt.Lost everything.

I bet Trump is relishing the damage to LA and Calif in the current madness.

But I think he's inadvertently setting Newsome up for a presidential run in 2028 which I think he'd win hands down against the very lackluster (and failed drag queen) President Vance.

What was Trump supposed to do let LA burn like it did during the Rodney King riots. I was there Cat. It was fucking mental.

Peaceful protests GM. People with placards protesting against ICE and the Nazi style eviction of US citizens. Trump has deliberately and callously inflamed it all. Without protest...Evil wins. Putin style politics. North Korean style politics. Kiss my Ass says Trump. Or burn.

This is L.A. Cat, not the Darby and Joan Club. No such thing as a peaceful protest. Remember the BLM riots, CNN called them "mostly peaceful" when Chicago etc were in flames.

What's happening in L.A. and Ballymena is coming to England and ROI. Police won't do much as they are strapped on resources and Starmer needs to that Catholicism and Protestantism are finding common ground, to bound together and fight tyranny. There are 3 prisons in NI.

I wonder if there will be jail breaks.

The Irish are known for dirty protests even the women. Remember when women smeared their period blood on prison walls and men covered their prison walls with shit, during the Troubles? Long Maze and Armagh Gaol comes to mond.

Sending in the National Guard and the Marines against the American people is an act of infamy.

This was deliberate- to inflame tensions when the LAPD could have easily handled wht were not frigging riots in the first place, rather very vocal demonstrations.

To equate this with the Rodney King riots is ludicrous and shows up the deliberate actions of Trump to inflame the situation for political advantage.

And I don't put it past the stumbling, dementing orange faced goon imposing martial law at some stage.

Do you have a source for that? Genuine question.

There have apparently been a lot of falsehoods about Black Lives Matter.

Thank you for narrowing it down. Given the choice between the opinions of people reporting from their living rooms and reports from journalists actually on the ground, I'm more inclined to trust the latter, especially if the people giving the opinions are biased, as these seem to be. BLM protests may not always have been peaceful and arson may have occurred in Minneapolis but wanting criminal behaviour during the protests to be more serious or more widespread than it was doesn't make it true.

100% Jo. And remember how they tried to blame the Trump Capitol Hill siege on the Left and on BLM and ANTIFA. Total lies. MAGA's hypocrisy knows no bounds.

I think Citizen journos are more believable than the MSM to be honest, especially if they are Operation Mockingbird assets.

There is no legal definition of a journalist in the UK.

I have noticed the MSM were quiet about the officer who died during the BLM riots, David Dorn.

Re:Trump LA 1 Week, 5 Days ago
I've searched extensively with the help of Matt Drudge's excellent list of links to the world's media.

I cannot find one outlet anywhere in any country be they conservative , middle or left that has labelled the current LA demonstrations as "riots".Nor have any provided evidence of looting, fires etc but that may come if the LAPD shoot enough people with rubber bullets.

Except one lone one- Rupert Murdoch's piss poor Australian Sky News (average nightly viewership about 40K). They can be forgiven as they're licking their wounds after proclaiming in the recent Oz election that the now utterly decimated conservative party would sweep the board (They linger on 43 seats while ruling Labor has 94).

Meanwhile Donald Trump and the fragrant Melania attended the Kennedy Centre last night for a performance of Les Miserables. They were booed by the audience.
A bunch of drag queens who arrived were cheered.

# I never liked Matt Drudge as he was pretty right wing but I always thought his website was brilliant. He's now gone anti-Trump.

I always found Drudge to be very centre of politics.

A president being booed is nothing new. The Let's Go Brandon meme started at a NASCAR track.

Hedda; my vague knowledge of the Murdock dynasty suggests to me that it was built on one inspirational and strategic decision, by Rupert.

Realising and acting on the the future news - that satellite broadcasting was about to take off, at the same time the new English Premier League.

Massive expansion ensued in Sky - the EPL is now shown live, in every jurisdiction on earth. And nations/multi billionaires are now acquiring football clubs.

Re:Trump LA 1 Week, 4 Days ago
Trump said on Jan 6th as his ghastly MAGA mobs viciously beat 140 police officers at the Capitol and hunted the VP to lynch..that he did not have the authority to send in the National Guard unless the state governor requested it.

Which is the truth and also why Gov Newsome can sue him. But that will take forever. Democracy dismantled by increments for an orange faced dementia buffoon who stumbles in staircases (well it was good enough accusing Biden for the same)

But the real problem here is it's not the catheter wearing Trump..his days are seriously numbered. He's old and nuts and his body is giving up.

It's the coming President Vance who is the real horror.

I was hoping for a time I was wrong and Trump could effect change for the better in the conflict zones by "doing things differently".

But the jury is back in and the verdict clear: he is a achieving nothing apart from sowing hatred and discord. And at home, too, nothing other than enriching himself and some buddies.

Sadly I have been proven correct: no good will ever come from such an "ugly" soul...
