Even the left paper, the Mirror are now turning on Labour.
I still don't get why people think the government work for the commoner, they only care about you when it's election time. Labour has attacked the OAPS and now they are going for people who claim PIP. My local MP has put on a newsletter he will vote against any Labour plans.
I have no problem with my taxes going towards people with disabilities, anything can happen to anyone in a second, like a car accident, stroke, heart attack, cancer, accident at work.
I do have a problem with the migrants living free in hotels and dole dossers in general. The government needs to create industry and infrastructure to create jobs.
Even the left-wing Democrat Franklin D Roosevelt knew how to create jobs and opportunities in pretty much any industry.
I bet Labour voters are saying to themselves, "Are we the baddies?" like in the famous Mitchell and Webb sketch.
The comments on the Mirror page is amusing when people admit they voted for Labour.
The issue I had was Boris is that he didn't have a backbone to argue about lockdowns, he is a WEF puppet, but not as much as Starmer.
Agree mostly with all of that GM. I do know of a lady near me who one morning had a nasty accident when she collided with a bus whilst cycling. She suffered nerve damage and her career and her life was changed upon an instant. Yes, there are those who play the system. No question. But tarring all with the same brush and pushing people in to poverty is not something any government should be doing, especially a Labour government. As for migrants, best we stop supporting the bombing the crap out of poor countries then.
Green Man wrote: War torn France? Poor countries GM.No bombs equals no displaced people. Currently displacing 1 million in Gaza, and possibly 10 million in Iran if Trump goes in. Where would you like them to go? The French Riviera? Dubai? Trump's Nazi America? The Human Race is self destructing before our eyes. What happened to compassion?
No matter what your politics Keir Starmer will go down in history as having won an election on a total pack of lies and pledges he had no intention of implementing. Probably one of the most deceitful PMs of all time. And an absolute traitor to Labour ideals.
I mean there are PMs I disagreed with and still do like Margaret Thatcher but she made no secret of her policies.
And in a way Donald Trump made no secret of his intentions this time albeit it was all crouched in long often rambling speeches and I'm not sure the listener could take it all in.
If welfare cuts don't cull the nation. I am sure the food manufacturers will do something sinister like make everything peanut/nut based. There's also Cat, hot dogs. Not forgetting eating bugs can be cancerous, which the WEF wants us to eat.
I have no problem with genuinely disabled people getting the help that they need to live their lives. However there are lot of people claiming pip with mild depression or anxiety. The number of people in the uK who are econcomically inactive is far higher than our European neighbours. 1 in 8 young people (18-24) are now NEETS (Not in Education, Employment, or Training). This is unsustainable. Also many disabled people get a free car to help them get around, and they havee it replaced every 3 years. Who replaces their car every 3 years?, and why do they have to get a new car, not second hand.
Also I hope they don't scrap the two child benefit cap. Having children is a lifestyle choice and if you can't afford to have more than 2 children, the tax payer should not have to shell our for your irresponsible action. You could say it is not the 3rd kid's fault, but then you could say that people with children shouldn't go to prison, because it would adversetly affect their children. People need to be responsible for their own actions.

In some communities (where you are allowed more than one wife), if you have about 15 children, the taxpayers still have to support them if they are claiming for them.
When we were younger, it was almost unheard of for young adults to be claiming and not be doing some sort of job or training. I know Maggie started a job training scheme, but I think it was minimum wage and travel expenses paid for, but many employers took advantage of their young trainers.
I don't know much about the Job Centre when it comes to placements and training, but I do get a young lad approaching me every week asking me to be his driver's mate. If I could afford it, I would take them on. I did think about taking him as a volunteer and maybe buy him a pub lunch now and then, but I was advised not to due to insurance reasons, and it could affect his dole money.
Do the Job Centre offer training or placements where you get paid minimum wage?
I do know the only placements the Job Centre offered were with supermarkets, B&Q and Primark. I made a mistake asking someone about some tools and masonry wall plugs in B&Q. The young guy had no idea, he found the oldest member of staff he could find to help me, almost a coffin dodger. When I explained, the lad also showed me duct tape instead of electrical tape; his eyes rolled.
The older gent explained we get young people in every time from the Job Centre, without a clue about DIY. This was about 10 years ago.
