Decca Blues 16 Years, 3 Months ago
Looking through the archives of JK's postings I happened upon a video of his time with Decca and in particular his stories about Sir Edward Lewis (you look good in yellow btw JK even at your age). I was instantly fascinated by this, and immediately wanted to know more (JK has always had a habit of doing this). Seems Sir Edward didn't get along too well with the Rolling Stones, though they were Decca's biggest stars. Company was eventually parted, but I would love to hear more from JK about that time, and feel his video gave a brief but excellent series of snapshots as to that time in his life. But I want more. Excellent stuff, and trawling through all of JK's backlog upon a cold and wet Tuesday morning in January is highly recommended. Still getting over JK plodding into Sir Edwards office in just trunks. Compulsive stuff... a great television series in the making.
