TOPIC: Gordon Brown
#26315
Gordon Brown 16 Years, 3 Months ago
I'm not a fan but I have always thought that, whilst he inherited a good financial climate (largely due to Ken Clarke), he generally did a decent job as Chancellor.

Whether or not I'm right about that, we'll see over this year - especially in the face of serious US problems.

But he made a good fist of defending the UK economy on the BBC Politics show from Davos.

Northern Rock and dodgy donations look like overshadowing anything he'll acheive in the few months, who knows whether the public will give him time put things right before the next general election. As leaders of Britain go i'd probably rather stick with Gordo than give Cameron a chance, it seems to be all about P.R and not much else with him!

Though i did hear a rumour a while ago that Gordon Brown was planning to regionalise the minimum wage which if true would make me vote conservitive out of spite because being from Northern Ireland I don't fancy my paltry wages being cut any further.
