"Am I Normal" BBC2 at 11.00pm tonight.
Radio Times review -
"It's a bright sunny day and we're off dogging," trills Dr Tanya Byron, as her tireless patrol of the grey area between the unusual and the unacceptable tonight reaches the subject of sex.
Some people will feel queasy at the very idea of cottaging (gay sex with strangers in public toilets) or dogging (sex in cars watched by strangers) but, asks Byron, if these practices are conducted by consenting adults and nobody is hurt, why should we condemn people who engage in them? She meets fans of both activities, as well as the editor of Loaded magazine, a shrewd sex-shop owner, and (this is where the programme gets really troubling) a paedophile who argues that some sex with underage children should be legal. It's one of the most disturbing interviews you'll ever see.
