Flood 15 Years, 11 Months ago
At least 2 hours too long. I'll try to watch the second part tonight, but I might fall asleep before the end. Much of it is nicked off Day After Tomorrow, which in turn nicked parts of other disaster movies, so naturally there are scenes which I felt I'd seen several times before.

Secretly I'm watching in the hope of seeing that horrible gherkin building get washed away. I think I'll be disappointed.

I watched it and quite enjoyed it. Hokum but diverting hokum.

I shall watch the grand finale tonight.

As I was watching - and indeed it was rubbish but diverting (Tom Courtney is always a pleasure to watch) the disaster in Burma was unrolling.

Mother Nature, our greatest friend, is also our greatest enemy.

I watched the second half but didn't see the Gherkin get destroyed. Shame! It wasn't a bad time filler. I'm still a bit puzzled as to how Robert Carlisle managed to sit on a dry Pharmacy floor after they'd waded through a flooded doorway .. or why his dad couldn't have taken an extra tank into the sealed room. But there always has to some small gripes, otherwise we'd have little to talk about.
