that's why I love the new Russell Davies incarnation.

Yeah, great to see Sarah-Jane Smith who was the assistant to Tom Baker (I think!!) and she has hardly changed since she was the doctor's assistant in the 70's.

Still not convinced by David Tennant, good actor as he may be, it seems like a performance - all show and no depth. And Billie Piper is really starting to get on my nerves.

Not particularly intelligent writing in my opinion. Also bad research and continuity. Sarah Jane met and heard from the Doctor at least twice since he "left her behind". This episode was also too much of a nick from "The Demon Headmaster".

But I know you love it, JK ... and it's cool if it brings people pleasure (sort of).
