Internet food shopping.. 17 Years, 11 Months ago
A friend of mine clicked the wrong box when ordering chillies on a popular supermarket website.
We gave him no end of stick when his 1kg of finger chillies arrived.( he assumed he had ordered 1 oz)They ended up in various fruit-bowls as decoration, accross his house.
Armed with this first hand information, I cautiously broused for my rare online food shop, not wishing to achieve the same horror.
Sadly, when I opened the fruit and veg bag, I found one tomato, one red onion and a banana, a bit over cautious I feel.
Still, it could have been worse, bowls full of plaintains could have been a problem.....

There is a further funny story about that poor lonely banana.
As it was the only one in the fruit bowl, nobody actually ever ate it, as they didn`t want to take the last one in the bowl.
It died uneaten black and soggy.
I have found a solution in tasteless tomatoes though as a result,it`s simple. Don`t put them in the fridge, but put them next to ripening fruit, and they actually develope a flavour, and go a decent colour.

I was just going to recommend using the soggy banana in a milkshake! This is your daily tip from handbag.com. Over and out.

We tend to eat very well, although the diet when we are away is allways the local Indian.
This poor belated banana is getting a lot of stick!
Should you make a milkshake from, I can thouroughly recommend that you drink it instantly, as I put half of one in the fridge once and in the morning, it was not a satisfying colour.
The hottest day of the year today, in which I will be stuck on the motorway, I had better empty all fruit bowls Andrew!Too many wasps!

as my Y.m.c.a is in Folkestone we don't tend to feel the heat due to the sea breeze we get. I go to the beach during my lunch hour and I got burnt on the arms.
