He seems a really nice guy. He swerves and crosses the ball like nobody else. I love his penalties. And we share the same enemy (someone willing to destroy anyone for money).
We couldn't have a better captain.
Now - here we go England!

I have an awful 2-1 to Paraguay feeling about this match, I have had it all day.

They can't even beat Paraguay (rated 33rd) - they had to score for them ! 17 Years, 10 Months ago

I also like David Beckham, and his family. Pity the press don't, well sorry they do, he sells papers. But he has been put up on a pedestal this time so high, he will get hell, if we do not win the world cup, it will be his and Svens fault.
Well Mr Beckham, l have news for you, 1000's of people love you, no matter what happens at the world cup, l would much admire the paparazzi to give you a break, but they wont.

Here is the question, if we do win, do the football Assoc. say sorry to Sven for not believing in him, and the papers say sorry.......errrrrrrrrrrrr no!!

I think that you been you enjoy his free-kicks, because Beckham missed the last 3 penalty kicks for England, hence Frank Lampard is now the penalty taker.

Beckham is a good role model for young people, apart from one extra-marital dalliance. He doesn't get into fights, do drugs, alcohol, or gambling (the bane of may footballers)

Very poor performance. 17 Years, 10 Months ago
Bad pace, bad tactics, and having to rely on an own goal for victory over a supposedly much weaker side. Now the old excuse of heat exhaustion is wheeled out.

Must do better.
