Nowadays you have to queue up for about 4-5 hours to get into wimbledon, unless you are lucky enough to get tickets in the draw. Why not sell tickets in advance via the phone or internet, like every other major sporting event. I can't see the argument of saying it gives everyone an equal chance by making them available on the day. Everyone has access to a phone and thus would be able to get the tix in advance and arrive in a relaxing and comfortable manner, not having to queue up for hours in the sweltering heat.
Get with the programme Wimbledon!!
