I was pleased to see several Big shops stopped serving for 2 mins today to show respect for 7/7 . I was in the town centre with my wife, and daughter, and we stood outside Marks and Spencer, (who also stopped serving) and paid our respects.
Pity the Big Issue man didn't, all you could hear was his cries of BIG ISSUE. Only then to be accosted by a girl trying to get me to sign up for Water Aid Charity, l said we trying to pay 2 mins respect for the deaths of 7/7 ... the answer?? I will come and see you in a minute then.!!
Yes, we did look odd stood there doing nothing, and l didn't care.
