This deal - which allows UK citizens to be extradited to the USA on the flimsiest of "evidence" - could be scrapped by MPs as the USA has failed to ratify the deal and will not allow extradition the other way.
A bit like their failure to allow any US citizen to appeal before the International Court in The Hague.
Protecting your own citizens is to be admired (and should be the first duty of ANY government) - but why does Toady Blair continually abandon any responsibility to British people when the Yankers snap their fingers?
Could the anser possibly be that he sees his future in the USA (all those lovely lecture tours !) and will not upset them at any costs?
This puts clearly into focus his suitability to be British PM, with his duty to look after British interests and protect British people.
