I must say this short genuine exchange told me more about our leaders than virtually anything else.

And I can't help wondering if it was in these terms that our leaders discussed the Bosnian Crisis back in the day. The Lebanese situation is awfully reminiscent of the siege of Sarajevo. Lots of self-righteous bluster and guns on one side and total disregard from the powers that be on another.

The sooner the infantile Bush and wag-wag Blair go, the better.
