watching the news about MI5 thwarting a terror bomb on a flight but theres no bomb.how are we supposed to believe brit goverment now after forest gate/stockwell tube etc.

The media of course loves the drama and excitement.
And we all remember previous dramas...
The TANKS that appeared at Heathrow a year or so ago?
It appears the brilliant BUSH strategy of "frighten the public into thinking their lives are in danger and they will abandon civil liberty campaigns" may not be as brilliant as it seems.
Sadly it's a no win situation.
As long as there are the odd successful 7/7 or 9/11 terrorist strikes (preferably by dead people) to shore up the fear, the whole world can turn into the Lebanon! "We are just protecting our citizens".

....although notably the air traffic coming in as of now, appears to be heavier than normal, re-directed fights I presume.

part of the deal in Orwell's "1984" was to keep everyone on alert all nicely fueled up by the government controlled media...hmmmm.

Notice, Big End, that after several hours of "news reports" these is not one solitary fact emerging !

They cannot tell anyone which airport - or which destination - they cannot specify which airline .... all just rumour gossip and innuendo !

But they WILL tell us how lucky we are to have been "saved" (by them !) from this plot (a "plot" which, if it actually exists, was brought to these shores by them !!!!)

Its like the powers that be are using it as a blueprint.

sky news tells different story to USA.according to yank papers UK has made 21 arrests and bombs had not yet been constructed.
