over here for the past two years it turns out Bush has been tapping (ilegally) into american peoples home phones.in fact two orginizations are sueing as we speak.Bush's approval ratings shot down in Feb when this was leaked,so you can imagine my surprise when tonight on republican controlled news over here that the new claim is that Bush started the UK terror alert because they taped a call from a USA home to UK home of al-qaeda thus proving he was right to eaves drop on american citizens.correct me if I'm wrong but I thought brits said it was al-qaeda style and not al-qaeda themselves.this is turning into a farce and vote winner for republicans.incredibly dodgy.more to come I'm sure.

well it's just been announced Bush has lost in court about the tappings but he isn't going to stop.sums it all up really.

This is how it works ....

IF you have a UN resolution on your side - you use it. If the resolution says something you don;t like you ignore it !

IF the public are behind you, you quote them (regularly) - but if the majority don't like what you propose you ignore them !

IF someone elects a democratic government that you don't like - you ignore them and refuse to co-operate (while still telling everyone else that they too should have democracy - but only democracy that you approve of, of course) !

..... and if the law doesn't actually support your ideas, then you either ignore them or ammend it till it does !
