It could be what the eurovision song contest needs it is a new step no more happy crappy songs that made Bucks Fizz won, Gemnii did the same thing and got has no points whatsoever.

Finland has got some good rock bands like Honi Rocks.
I'm going to try and download this song and see what is sounds like and tell you about it.

I was just about to say something along the same lines. Some great music and cool labels in Finland for the moment.

I also just read that Finnish films currently have 55% of the market in Finland. No-one else in Europe can match that! FYI, the biggest hit is Aleksi Makela

If a country wishes to enter a song which is "something different", the answer is not some cheesy psuedo commercial rap/pap, but a gothic Hard Rock number which (so far as I know) has never been done at the Eurovision before.

There are some good songs this year.
Lithuania, Malta, Slovenia, Norway, Estonia, Bosnia and (yes) Finland all have well crafted songs each in a different style to the other.

But, if rap is to be the thing this year, then Poland can teach the UK a few lessons.

Daz - stay home.

If you think Lithuania is good, you need new ears! Crisis now after the Serbian and Montenengro final 18 Years, 1 Month ago
www.doteurovision.com/phpnews/news.php?a...news&id=1060

What a peaceful bunch of people they are.

The Finnish group may look the part of hard rock, but the song is just commercial Bon Jovi/Europe styled rock pop and easy on the ear. The group look like Dr & The Medics with a skin complaint. This could have been far scarier! With the semi final system that Finland have to endure and the 70 point handicap on most of the Balkans, it probably won't get to the final sadly

As for Lithuania, 5 guys standing in a row declaring "ve are the vinners of yoo-roe-vishun" over and over again doesn't exactly put Daz to shame.

Lithuania will win. I like it. Mum likes it. The kids like it. So, it cuts across the generations. All depends on the political voting of course. (nm) 18 Years, 1 Month ago
