American Idol 18 Years, 1 Month ago
That poor guy who looks like Chicken Little, why are they stringing him along? Because it makes good TV I guess. He's really starting to believe he is the mutts and he's not. The poor sod, I really feel sorry for him.

And why are they ganging up on Simon when he speaks his mind? He's not being MR Nasty, he's talking fact. The American people encourage everyone and don't get me wrong, there's nothing bad about encouragement but when they're not good TELL THEM. Forget all this "Yeah man! You RUCK!" and all that.

For those who haven't seen it, here's the guy:

And here's who they compared him to (not a bad likeness)

Saw it again last night, do you think the Americans really like him? Sympathy vote? And what happens after the competition?

Actually I was questioning the competition for building up the hopes of this guy. I think they're keeping him in for "great TV" purposes and when it's all over he's gonna come crashing down.

I agree Kev, but he can probably gig on the back of this for quite a while, whatever the outcome is.
My previous experience with the "pop idols", in backing them, was their fees came in too high, from day one, which tended to kill the careers off is there was no hit.
It`s an interesting time , this job at the moment, nobody is quite sure which way the pendulum will swing.

Looks aren't everything but in music you got to have a good appeareance you wore eccentric clothes, rainbow wig etc. I would love him to do your song Rockstar I would like to see if could do some light rock.
