Wonderful, wonderful Freddie Mercury show 1 Month, 3 Weeks ago
on BBC2 this evening; wonderful when Axl Rose turned up. I remember when his managers begged me to persuade him to stop taking drugs - I was apparently the only person he'd listen to - and I spent an hour with him in a tent somewhere. It didn't work.

It was absolutely brilliant, what a great person Freddie is. He was awesome.
Sad seeing George Michael too another we lost too young. An equally great entertainer.
And Bowie too.

Loved this show and it was superb in looking at the Aids crisis more generally without losing focus on Freddie. A triumph and possible winner of TV show of the year.
