Fascinating, but heart-breaking documentary of the very talented, but tormented Scottish child star. She had an amazing voice from a very young age. At age 9 or 10, she seemed more mature than most 25-year-olds of today. She broke so many records. The youngest person to have a top 10 album in the UK, the youngest person on top of the pops, and the youngest to get a silver disk.
There are far less talented singers to have very long and successful careers. It is such a tragedy that her career and life were cut so short. Her voice was as good as a young Judy Garland. I think it would be even worse for her today, with internet trolls, on-demand tv. In the 70s you watched top of the pops and that was it, you couldn't watch it again. Watch it and remember Lena.
