Not a fan but just caught a video of them on You Tube performing live in 2022. Jaysus. They look like pensioners. Not that much older than me. Roland Orzabal looking like Santa Claus...Curt Smith like my Grandfather. Shocked I tell ye.

I think that part of this is down to the fact that they have been away for so long, and we haven't seen them grow old gradually. They just suddenly appear after decades away. We see Boy George and Duran Duran all the time and don't notice the aging process. Also skinny people don't usually age well, they get this skeletal look. Andrew Ridgely is the same

I think the Charlie Landsborough look suits Roland Orzabal.

If you think Roland Orzabel looks shockingly old too soon, which I agree he does, how about looking at Paddy McAloon of Prefab Sprout who was not so long ago a fresh faced clean shaven fellow and now resemebles Santa Claus or in this photo on Billboard comes across looking like Father Abraham of The Smurfs fame, but an older version. I was shocked when I saw the state of him not so long ago.

Paul Weller in his Jam and Style Council days and even solo always looked younger than his years with a smooth boyish complexion and now looks completed ragged weather beaten and years older, and that's without a grey beard. What happened there, is he a heavy smoker?

I always thought Paul Weller's Mod haircut looked awful on him. Sometimes it looked like he was going to do a Bon Jovi tribute act.

Paddy McAloon looks alright to me if he was in Jethro Tull, Steelye Span, some Morris Dancers troupe from Surrey or Gigspanner.
