Not wishing to detract from the suffering of REAL victims and strongly advocating the punishment of REAL abusers, I would like to remind readers that the crime of false allegations is one of the fastest growing areas of dishonesty today, with massive rewards in media fees, compensation, sympathy, kudos and so on... and very little downside or risk (even the guilty false accusers get anonymity).

It's just media sensationalism all the time. Just a bunch of vile rags desperate to sell newspapers without a shred of decency in their own bones.
