It doesn't sound from Richardson's statement as if Taylor covered anything up, rather that he was part of the decision to sack Langford and that the parents didn't want to involve the police. This guy Brien seems to have popped up very late in the day.

There goes my theory that dustbin men would never be accused. Mind you, this sounds genuine if the boys raised the issue at the time and parents were involved.

If a man leaves his wife for another woman, that woman must surely have been having an affair with him while he was married...

Ah as more emerges it appears lawyers may have become involved and they might have pointed out that dead people are not likely to provide any cash but if the clubs are linked to it there could be large sums in compensation - probably after fees have been deducted.
