TOPIC: This is what Putin will do
#174659
This is what Putin will do 6 Years, 1 Month ago
or would, if he's as shrewd as I suspect he is.
In a few days he will reveal that he is as horrified as anyone by the use of chemical weapons, will swear that Russia no longer makes it and will say his agents have tracked down the two lone rogue poisoners who turn out to be ISIS.
They somehow got hold of old nerve gas - as with the disgraceful stuff being used in Syria by ISIS (claiming it is Assad and Russia).
And targeted two expatriate Russians to point the finger at Russia.
Russia will find these killers and punish them publicly.
He will reverse the expulsion of UK diplomats, saying he does not blame brain dead May (like any leader, he's delighted May and Trump are in charge in the West) and promises total co-operation - more than that; he has just received information that ISIS intends high profile targets in England and warns May to take precautions.

Incidentally, I suspect Putin IS responsible but is very clever.

And I would not be at all surprised to see huge escalation of nerve gas killings this summer - blamed on ISIS and probably including the Palace of Westminster.

How grateful the British public must be to have the likes of Jonathan King to lead them in their quest for educated and enlightened leadership.
One can almost hear the Kremlin scribes rushing to change the name of Saint Petersburg to SillyKingograd in homage.

And isn't the most perturbing thing about Salisbury - how was the nerve gas distributed? And don't you think ISIS and other terror organisations must be thinking "hmm... this seems far more effective than knives or bombs... a small bottle of this stuff dropped onto the floor of a crowded Commons... so easy..."

I have often said it..but most security services agree..you have to get up pretty early to (dare I say it?) trump the Russians or indeed, the Chinese.

These are people who are unbelievable experts at manipulation. Putin is basically a dictator now and does not have that meddlesome notion of 'democracy" to complicate matters. He has had decades firstly as a KGB chief and now 'president for life' which absolves him of the norms of the democratic process which UK politicians are tethered to.

# the Conservatives have..understandably as most of today's politicians are dills of the first order..walked straight in a trap laid by Putin by accepting £Millions in donations from Russian Oligarchs who some British politician prat has claimed is all OK as said Oligarchs are also British citizens and thus pretending that they do not owe allegiance..nay their lives..to Putin.

I also think it is most likely the latest poisoning is a Russian plot and the woeful UK media in it's attempt to divert attention from the Tories deep involvement with dirty Russian money...have missed the entire point.

It's not about some dodgy minor & useless ex-spies...this is a message (for God's sake ..have they ignored the murder of Boris Berezovsky?
The message is plain and clear and it's to any extremely wealthy Russian/British Oligarch : we can find you and kill you wherever you are if you have silly thoughts of forgetting your true allegiances

# does "Penang Pete" have any meaningful contribution apart from cheap meaningless jibes? Has already basically ignored the point of my posts which are not about wanting Jeremy Corbyn to be elected (why the Fuck would I really care what the Brits now do when I live in Australia? If they want to commit commercial suicide on matters like Brexit and are so fucking dumb they listen to a nightmare like Nigel Farage all is lost anyway)

My point was about a media so embolden that it lies in such outrageous fashion and makes the hacks of Der Stürmer look like rank amateurs.

# I listened to a BBC interview today with Chris Grayling who unbelievably and blatantly...lied in outrageous fashion when he said Jeremy Corbyn refused to condemn Russia.

This bloke was in Parliament 2 days ago as Corbyn basically said exactly the same as Theresa May and in no uncertain manner..condemned Russia but in fact, in far more ways than the PM.

The interviewer simply allowed this lie to stand.

If you think that sort of complete fabrication is OK..all is lost.

I can't stand Grayling - he was the worst prisons minister ever (saying something) and is a real May fan.

And now Boris bleats in - disgraceful remarks about Putin; much though I cannot stand May, I would never be as rude about her if I was the Foreign Minister of a different country.

Cui bono.

Russia wouldn't benefit from this at all. I doubt they had anything to do with it at Putin's level.

Putin needs to do very little.

All that will happen is the usual expelling of diplomats on both sides (one of the oddest & most fruitless exercises) and some sabre rattling by the UK.

What will not change (which Jeremy Corbyn has demanded) is the fact the UK is used to launder the ill-gotten gains of the Russian Oligarchs who have looted the wealth of Russia.

Not one single one of these Oligarchs prospered without being a confederate of Putin and those who survive remain basically in partnership with him.

The fact Conservative MPs dismiss the £Millions in donations from the the so-called Russian / UK citizens is ridiculous and they know it.

Putin and Russia now have the Conservatives in their pocket which partly explains the desperate attacks from the right-wing media on Corbyn attempting to paint him as a "Russian spy" in a classic "look over there" attempt at diversion.

Those who have followed Putin's rise from the beginning (me) including security agencies around the world have noted the pattern.

Putin has successfully compromised so many powerful people in his rise to be the autocratic ruler of Russia.

The long term Putin plan is the break-up of the EU and nobbling of NATO. Blind Freddy can see Putin's fingerprints everywhere from Brexit to Donald Trump's victory and the seducing of the Tories.

Few people have bothered to read any of the biographies of Vlad Putin when he's the major power force in the world.

Many totally underestimated Putin's incredible cunning and skill at manipulation firstly as a top KGB agent and then as Moscow mayor and finally as Prime Minster which was a planned to be an 18 month stop-gap by Boris Yeltsin's co-horts but which backfired spectacularly.

Each and every living billionaire Oligarch ( including the UK "citizens" like the owner of The Evening Standard & Independent newspapers ..football clubs etc etc) aided and conspired with Putin and are his allies. Try and end that and you have an accident.."commit suicide" etc.

Few in the West seem to understand the complex nature of the majority of Russian people who admire Putin's ruthless nature and success.
Like the Chinese president (and as Donald Trump would so love to be) Vladimir Putin is the ruler of Russia for life.

I've read 3 Putin (all come from different angles but reach the same conclusions)..the best was this- he's one of the most fascinating men on the planet at present.

And 23 Brits get expelled... oh, for heaven's sake, who cares? Why must our leaders play these silly games? There are serious problems in the world that need dealing with whilst diplomats move here and there.

I would welcome money from anywhere. Oil rich Arabs, olivegarchs from Greece, rich Russians,Uncle Tom Wobbly and all.
Many dodgy things have happened, and been hushed up over the years, Israel being a prime example.
Just look at how Malaysia handled the poisoning of that silly brother of old big hair from NK.
Had the CCCP had a Putin, not a Gormlesschov they would have won the Cold War.

I once shook Gorbachev's hand- he thought I was Russian. He's a perfect example of the old-style Russian politician from peasant stock..huge barreled chest and wide shoulders..beefy hand.

I digress..Gorbachev successfully opened up Russia to the world as a Market Economy and with Boris Yeltsin (not nearly the drunk as painted but a person with an inner ear defect that gave him similar drunk-style movements) and the Russian army laying down weapons saw off a dangerous take-over by old style generals yearning for the Communist state to be re-imposed.

And mindful of that..Boris Yeltsin and his co-horts chose a successful former KGB agent and department head (never the boss as wrongly published) Vladimir Putin to be Prime Minster (they are appointed by the President) for a short time as Yeltsin and Friends still believed they could easily end up in jail.

Putin had no interest in aiding the jailing of Yeltsin etc..as a former Moscow Mayor and having been in charge of several ministries briefly he was already a multi-millionaire via numerous scams aided by..most of today's hugely wealthy billionaire Russian Oligarchs (including the British citizen ones).

Putin's wealth makes the Oligarchs look like paupers.

Penang Pete is clearly and old-style Russian agent pining away for the Communist era. I think he's probably in exile.

I think he may be similar to the Ayn Rand obsessive ITK who may well be a former low-level MI6 desk jockey pining away for the days the British Secret Services ran the show.
