TOPIC: Brett Kavanaugh
#181143
Brett Kavanaugh 5 Years, 6 Months ago
If he does get onto the Supreme Court in the USA, at least there will be a Judge there with personal experience of the False Allegations Industry. I've been predicting this explosion of ways to destroy political opponents as well as rivals, ex husbands, celebrities and others for 18 years. It's not always just cash, publicity and sympathy the accusers seek.

I can't help but feel this is pretty important, but I've been finding US politics such a struggle of late (for obvious reasons) that I just can't make sense of it.

Moor Larkin has also suggested that events in the US might be significant for this whole issue (here).

This 3rd accuser is sounding insane. Apparently there were numerous parties where Brett Kavanaugh laced women's drinks with alcohol and at all these parties there were lines of boys queuing up to rape these girls. And the accuser just kept going to all these parties to watch all this (presumably she brought her own refreshment to stop herself being repeatedly drugged and raped). In addition word never got round Kavanaugh's social group that he was orchestrating all these gang rapes at parties so local girls kept attending them and being raped...

Much as I dislike social conservatives like Kavanaugh (a group of people I partially blame for this current mess) I really cannot believe this is happening. Have the Russians put something in the water supplies of western nations to send us all mad and facilitate a Putinite takeover? Maybe we'd all be better off if we asked for some Novichok instead. And seriously could the authorities in the UK and USA be given a bit of time off investigating rubbish like this so they can actually do something about real abusers.

The third accuser does sound off-the-wall.

But a former male room-mate of Kavanaugh apparently thinks he would have been capable of the alleged behaviour:

Here's what the three women accusing Brett Kavanaugh have said

"In a statement to KGO-TV, Kavanaugh's first-year roommate, James Roche, described Ramirez as an honest person and Kavanaugh as someone who could become belligerent when drunk.

Based on my time with Debbie, I believe her to be unusually honest and straightforward and I cannot imagine her making this up," he wrote. "Based on my time with Brett, I believe that he and his social circle were capable of the actions that Debbie described."

Another but:

"Ramirez initially told the New Yorker that she wasn't sure of Kavanaugh's involvement in the incident but, after days of reflection, she said she was confident of her recollection.|

Have just watched a little of Christine Blasey Ford's testimony on the BBC. Little girl voice and timid manner odd for a woman of her age. Something not quite right, I feel.

Also can't understand how you'd remember such details from so long ago as hearing people talking as they walked down the stairs or having to walk past people to get out. Unless you have a fantastic photographic memory (is that possible?), it seems more like an assumption you'd make if you were imagining the situation.
