Rather like the music industry; all the entries sound like they were chosen by people who know what hits should sound like as opposed to songs which ARE hits. But that's why 23 years ago virtually nobody (except me) could see that Who Let The Dogs Out or I Get Down But I Get Up Again sounded like (I thought obvious) hits.

WOW! Diodato in the Interval - head and shoulders above all the entries. I love Italian pop - I've written the English lyric to many hits and have had a few myself (One For You).
