The court heard that Higginson had two convictions for six previous offences, including domestic violence against Miss Morley.

I wonder how long it will be before he starts being a serial killer or a sexual pervert. I wonder if he did the cat killing in Littlemoor or Poole over the years.

On the socials, people are doxxing him and rightly so.

Again a silly Tweet, which was deleted in a few hours and forgotten about, gives you jail time.

JAMES HIGGINSON, 20 and of Kirtleton Avenue in Weymouth, was found guilty of two counts of assault by beating of a woman in the town centre on July 15 and in Gloucester Mews in Weymouth on September 3. Higginson was conditionally discharged for 18 months, ordered to pay £75 in compensation, handed a restraining order from the victim for 12 months, must pay £200 in prosecution costs and a victim surcharge of £26.

Any kind of animal abuse is no different to child abuse. No difference at all. And people who abuse animals often go on to abuse children. The NSPCC for years have again and again stated that the majority of children who are abused are done so within their homes by the people who should be protecting them. Most abuse is physical violence. Not sexual abuse. But the media have and always will be more concerned with the salacious Celebrity stories of alleged sexual misconduct, so vicious bastards like this walk free and no-one cares.

I agree Cat, the courts are a joke these days. It makes you wonder if judges have a dark past or know people who do this kind of shit. Dorset is not that big of a county and Weymouth is frigging tiny. Higginson might have to leave both, if he moves to Hampshire he might have a better chance living without detection. Hants is full of morons and angry people. (No, Barney I don't live in Hants)
