JK Rowling's latest under the name Robert Galbraith is pretty good though I thought not as well written as The Casual Vacancy. Still a first class detective story; clever hero and sidekick; well worth reading. Interesting that the reviews (for an unknown) were much better than for JK's Vacancy. I suspect critics, like everyone else, are swayed by the media image. But then, of course, I'm a big JKR fan, having loved the Potter books since 1998.
