In the article about the Shannon Noll track being the chosen Five TV bed for their summer cricket coverage, all credit is given to Sony/BMG but only a passing hint says..."the deal came about when Five approached Sony BMG about using the track after it had struck a chord with members of staff there"...

Lots of mentions for "somebody" and "somehow" but WHO was responsible?

We gather it was a high profile front man with the initials MN.
