Henry's deranged playfulness like his centuries of adherents all fit for permanent asylum-status, also launched a culture of play-acting, with just one fine, still-topical sample here from the Fraud Markets ongoing unchecked.

"BRASS". 1983-4 Gritty, Northern noire-comedy, mining drama. Robber-Baron Bradley Hardacre owns a local mine and has to deal with his very strange family (no surprise) and his struggling workers led by the redoubtable Agnes Fairchild (she of the heaving bosom). Satire full of references to other TV shows as well as various historical events. Written by Steve Crook.

A searing clip, currently not found on YT, has inhuman Hardacre informed by a grovelling lackey that the miners are increasingly dying from silicosis, coal-dust accumulated in their lungs.

Hardacre, "MY coal-dust in THEIR lungs ?! Is there no way of removing before they're buried ? It's MY coal-dust !"

So many examples of economy and humanity-destroying wrong-uns, it's hard to know where to stop.

Oh !
