A leader decides what is best for the country and forges ahead, even if it is unpopular.

A good secretary does what she is told to the best of her abilities.

May had no opinion either way about Brexit (secretaries simply obey instructions from the boss); now, faced with doing the job, she is determined to succeed in sorting the paper clips and ordering the stationery without wasting brain cells on the bigger picture.

True disasters often happen through minor details, not major accidents.
