Your paper has been very loud about contributing to the clearing of the
Leicester City footballers due to your investigation and exposure of the doggy old hookers who accused them of rape. However, you could only do that because they were foreign and the offences alleged to have taken place in Spain. You could not have done it in Britain, where the ACCUSED can be smeared all over the media but the ACCUSERS are allowed total anonymity. The Government says this is in order to provoke further allegations (and believe me, if the target is a celebrity, hundreds of false accusers emerge, greedy for cash or attentiol ... so why not do the same for the accusers, who can be discovered to be criminals and fantasists? One of my alleged "victims" was shown to have had serious charges (of being the getaway driver in a smash'n'grab raid on a video store) mysteriously dropped when he agreed to testify against me. All this was revealed in open court, but a tabloid spread would have encouraged even more seedy facts to come out about him. So come on, Andy. If it worked then, how about crusading for JONATHAN'S LAW... name and shame all false accusers. That would cut down on the miscarriages of British justice! |
