As the Strategic Marketing division gets the major overhaul anticipated here (and good luck Captain) we hear on the EMI grapevine that the merger between them and Warners is about to happen; EMI will take the major part; Levy and Munns in the ascendant; Lyor Cohen out as Edgar counts his cash and Jason Flom poised to jump from Virgin to the top of Warners. Only rumours but strong ones from people who would know.
