In the Times Law Report Oct 17th 2013, Lord Judge declared that telling the Media you were innocent when you later pleaded guilty warranted doubling the sentence to 30 months. Worth remembering by barristers who urge clients to plead guilty to crimes that never took place (as mine advised me).
