Shrinking Mercury
Monday, 17 March 2014
I have this theory (which you may find creeping into my new novel - Death Flies, Missing Girls and Brigitte Bardot) that billions of years ago there was life - as we know it - on Pluto and Neptune and Jupiter and Saturn.

As our Sun slowly cooled, they froze or turned into ice gas and closer planets, originally too hot (like Venus and Mercury now) cooled down too and life came onto them, ending up as Life On Mars and now - for a few brief seconds - Life On Earth and soon, as the Sun chills further, Life On Mercury.

And we shall freeze up and become just another dead planet.

Over to you finite thinkers. I'm an infinite thinker.
