Murdoch is losing his grip and politicians will be watching the Australian election to see if he still can swing the vote.

So far his judgement has been abysmal : attacking a UK born PM with constant references to her birthplace and working class roots , only to succeed and have her replaced with a highly popular working class local made good- yet Rupert's choice of candidate is also UK born but much disliked.
