Let's hope they don't have to wait as long as the Egyptians otherwise they are f***ed !

In The Know The Egyptian military are playing right into the Islamists hands.

Support for the Brotherhood must have rocketed within the last few days.

Will they never learn? - you CANNOT repress the people continually - they WILL rise up (esp in one of the most populous countries on earth) !

The reason I ask is the massacre in Egypt.

I blame the Yankers.

When it was clear to the rest of us that a military coup had taken place the Yankers prevaricated to "ponder the issue". The reason? US law forbids financing of any government which has ousted a democratically elected government.

This posed the Yankers with a problem.

While they were glad to see the back of the Islamists they wanted to continue funding the Egyptian army (so they still had someone to sub-contract their torture too).

Once again, the Yankers prevaricating and sending out mixed signals gave the military the "green light" to organise yesterdays slaughter. If the Yankers had acted (to remove finance from the military in Egypt) they would probably not have dared act as they did.

The Yankers have (not for the first time) dug themselves into a hole - on the one hand they want free elections and democracy - on the other they want to "select" the winner.

When you are in a hold its best to stop digging !!!
