steveimp I know of one newspaper (a local under the Mail's auspices) that HIDES stories if they interfere with any advertising deals or even Facebook friendships between the Journos and 'others'.
JK2006 Those of us who have been aware since Day One that all the papers tapped phones to get stories are not surprised to hear the scandal has now engulfed other tabloids than the dear old (deceased) News of the Screws. What we wonder is... how long before the best but nastiest paper in Britain, the Mail, gets caught up in the drama? Being best they will, naturally, have also been best at covering up any naughty - let alone illegal - activity. Was it going on at the Associated titles? Who knows? (Answer - hundreds will have known but will any decide to spill the beans if they did?).
